Born and raised in Matsqui, British Columbia (also known as Abbotsford), Timothy Elias is grateful to live and work on the unceded traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Currently studying in the Bachelor of Recreation Management program at Langara College, Timothy is passionate about creating positive recreational experiences for individuals and communities.

In his current role as a Program Assistant with the City of Vancouver's Board of Parks and Recreation, he supports municipal recreation initiatives and special events while further developing his knowledge in the field. Prior to his studies at Langara, Timothy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BA) and gained valuable experience working in alpine activities and the bicycle industry.

With a strong belief in the power of recreation to foster well-being, Timothy envisions a future where he can help create peaceful, thriving environments through balanced contributions to both individual health and community engagement.
