Paula is pursuing a Bachelor of Recreation Management and holds a diploma in Recreation Leadership. She works as a Community Facilities Coordinator for the City of Richmond's Parks, Recreation, and Culture department, leveraging 15 years of experience in other municipal recreation and non-profit sectors.

As a first-generation immigrant, Paula understands firsthand the importance of accessible public recreation services, particularly for immigrant and racialized communities. She is passionate about creating inclusive, high-quality recreation experiences and actively works to improve accessibility in these areas.

In her leisure time, Paula loves being in nature, hosting board game nights, and volunteering for local organizations that are meaningful to her.
